3. CryptoGammon Visitor Cookie

CryptoGammon assigns a random visitor identifier through the cg_visitor_id cookie.

This identifier allows the website to recognise repeated visits and associate visitor analytics records without using your name as the visitor identifier.

The identifier is randomly generated and is not intended to contain your email address, username, wallet address or other directly readable personal information.

The cookie is configured with security protections including HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite settings and may remain on the device for up to approximately one year unless removed earlier.

4. Local Storage Used by CryptoGammon

Stores the language selected for the CryptoGammon website so that your preference can be remembered on later visits.

Records that the current first-entry notice has already been acknowledged on that browser.

This prevents the same notice from being unnecessarily displayed every time the homepage is opened.

5. First-Entry Acknowledgement

When the first-entry notice is accepted, CryptoGammon may record the visitor identifier, consent or acknowledgement version, selected language, IP address, user agent and acceptance time on the server.

This record helps CryptoGammon determine which notice was acknowledged and when.

6. Visitor Analytics

CryptoGammon does not use this visitor analytics system to obtain GPS coordinates or precise device location.
